In this piece, I created a sequence of shots that could be used to advertise a coffee company. This entire project was created within a 2 week period. The static assets were either sourced from online distributors or created using Blender. Assets such as the coffee roasting machine, Latte mug and wooden spoon were all custom created for these pieces. The sequence was then staged and simulated within Cinema4D, followed by being rendered using Redshift.
As the opening for this piece, a sampling spoon was modelled and then using Cinema4D's rigid body simulations a short but explosive opening was made.
This scene is composed of multiple different camera angles to from the centre portion of the coffee advertisement. I did this as the roaster had a wide variety of features which I could explore for the piece.
This shot of a iced latte being mixed is the exiting piece of the longer coffee advert sequence. This shot was crafted using Cinema4D's pyro solver and then meshed with the built in volume mesher to get the mixing fluid effect. the colour of the mesh was also driven by the pyro smoke simulation which allowed for a nice mixing effect between the two 'fluids'.
